Canada 150 Fireworks

Regina's Canada Day fireworks, presented by the Co-op Refinery will feature the longest and most intense display at 20 minutes and 17 seconds, featuring diverse music from Canadian artists and refreshing designs guaranteed to thrill the audience and leave a lasting and powerful impression.

Fireworks are set to take place at 11 p.m. from Willow Island in Wascana Centre.

Feux d’artifice

Présentés par la Co-op Refinery, les feux d’artifice de la Fête du Canada à Regina épateront avec le spectacle pyrotechnique le plus long et le plus intense à 20 minutes et 17 secondes, et mettront en vedette de la musique de divers artistes canadiens ainsi que des conceptions originales qui ébahiront les spectateurs en laissant une impression durable et puissante.

Saturday, July 1st marks Canada’s 150th birthday and Wascana Centre is going to be filled with tons of exciting ways to celebrate.

There will be tons of family friendly activities going on in Wascana Park on Canada Day this year, including: Indigenous activities featuring Syllabic Rock Painting, Buffalo Hide Tanning and Hand Games, as well as Dino Bouncers, The Street Culture Kidz, Story Book Princesses and much more! 

And it’s all going to be capped off with a spectacular fireworks display after dusk.

Canada Day at Wascana Park offers a wide range of entertainment for everyone this year. Join us for the opening ceremonies, 21 Gun Salute and be a part of our ‘living flag’.

If music is more your thing there are bands playing throughout the day with the big headliner being Marianas Trench. Plus the Molson Canadian Beer Gardens open from noon to 10:30 p.m.

For your comfort, we'll have water, pet stations, a mother-baby kiosk, wash stations and washrooms.

Regina residents are invited to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday at Victoria Park. Along with the Regina Farmers' Market, on July 1st, residents and visitors can enjoy free Yoga in the Park, Downtown Chef's Mystery Cook Off, Paint Nite, Live DJs and much!

Local favourites, The Dead South, will be featured on the plaza stage peforming their latest and greatest hits to get the party started and fans ready for the big game.

9:00 to 10:00 - Registration

10:00 to 11:30 - Boat building
11:30 am to 13:30  - Break. Participants can take part in Canada Day Opening Ceremony
13:30 to 14:00 - Parade of boats
14:00 - RACE time!
